Exploring the New User Interface Experience in Microsoft Certification Exams
Microsoft recently announced that they have changed the Microsoft Certification user interface with new features and capabilities. These significant updates are being launched on 9th of March 2024 @ 11.00 PM Pacific Time. This update will be included in all the Pearson VUE-delivered exams. The newly designed user interface is a collaboration with industry experts in exam designs, delivery and accessibility. Even this includes a celebration screen when you pass the exam, similar to a successful certificate renewal screen. Additionally, many design choices were made to address key test taker problems, including those related to misinterpreting their position on the test.
Key New Features that Highlighted on the user interface- The capability to enable and disable to exam clock.
- An Expandable exam menu toolbar on the side screen.
- More logical enhancement in "Review Later" & "Leave Feedback" tabs.
- Path Map will be indicating where you are on the exam.
- Review Screen will sort the questions that are already answered, unanswered, marked for later review or marked for comment. Review Mode which includes labels that reminding which questions you are reviewing.
- As a new add-on the calculator history feature is added to the calculator option.
- Color Scheme options are available as Light Mode, Dark Mode & High Contrast Mode.
Microsoft has given a sandbox environment which may be helpful for the candidates to get the experience of this new look, before they move on with the exam.
